Muffin (マフィン)　→　Waffin (和フィン) ※造語

 ● 洋の中に和のテイストを入れたマフィン屋さん ●

オーナー様、長年の夢だったマフィン屋さんの開業。

将来、店内でお菓子教室を行う予定のこちらのマフィン屋さんでは、自宅に帰ってきたようなホッとした落ち着きを与えるとともに、時には身が引き締まるような存在感のある「コロニアルデザイン」の空気感を取り入れました。

Waffinという言葉には、お菓子教室を通したコミュニティーや地域との「Wa(輪)」、日本を代表する空手などにある伝統的な「カタ(型)」をマフィンを作る時の「型」と合わせて、決まった形にはまらない型破りな発想でこの場所からオーナー様のマフィンが広がっていくようなお店になるように想いを込めています。

The owner has long dreamed of opening a muffin shop.

This muffin shop, which plans to hold pastry classes inside in the future, incorporates an air of "colonial design" that gives a sense of presence that is both relaxing and at times sobering, as if you have come home.

The word "Waffin" is a combination of the traditional "kata" (mold) used in making muffins and the "wa (circle)" of community and region through the pastry class, and the traditional "kata" of karate, which is representative of Japan, and we hope that the owner's muffins will spread from this location with unconventional ideas that do not fit into a fixed form. We hope that the store will become a place where people can enjoy the beauty of the city and the people of the world.
